I am looking for dance related fingerplay ideas and or dance
sing along songs that I could use in the Baby Combo Dance Classes. I want them to learn all about dance but I also want them to have fun.

I dont have specific dance related songs. But if you just take childrens songs and have them sing along and work on a simple step during the instrumental it works. they love to sing and if the songs works they can do movements or gestures with the words. I do it with my baby classes and they have so much fun . here are a few:

3 little ducks
animal crackers in my soup
itsy bitsy spider
mary had a little lamb
swing high, swing low ( raffi )
twinkle twinkle little star

any childrens song should work

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but my mom teaches a grade two class at school and has tons of Disney Sing-a-Long videos which she plays for their music class.I think she has about 15 or 20 of them. Anyways, most of them are songs that schildren know from movies and would be easy to get them to sing along to!

I teach lots of preschool and K-1st dancers. I love the Mermaids and Butterflies CD which are short instrumental selctions. I've made up specific simple combinations to many of those, and they look forward to certain ones. Try to incorporate all the little steps I want them to learn and that might be in their recital dances. Put a little bit of whimsy or silly into each one and they love it!
