The Warped Tour pre-sale is in two days - I'm so excited!
The lineup isn't anything particularly special, but I adore WT so I'm going anyway.
I'm mad that they changed the venue, though. It's always been in this random field on some random island [as funny as that seems]. Ten minutes into the show, all the grass was gone and there is just dirt. Everywhere. Everyone comes home filthy and as much as I am clean freak, getting dirty at WT makes me really excited.
They moved it to the parking lot at our local sports arena and that means that there's going to be no singing train ride or bus ride to get to the island. No bandanas or dirtyness
Just lots of blood. Long Island NY is where like the "scene" evolved and we've got some psychotic kids here. I hope they have loads of ambulances on call because there's going to be a lot of cracked heads. Pavement + crowd surfing = bad news.

Ahh I'm just so excited! Anyone else going? Has anyone experienced being in a parking lot for the show? How is it?

It's in a parking lot...weird. Ours has generally been in a big open field the past few years...in the skydome once, and at a venue called the docks once that I can remember too.

I'm not sure if I'm going to go next year. I just felt SO OLD last year! Plus, the lineup isn't anything special. I'd rather save my money as well as earn money at work, and then go see a couple of good local shows.

I will definitly be there! Ours has been in a parking lot the last few years I've gone, and it hasn't been anything bad. I could see it being bad this year though, now that the scene is starting to explode I'm sure there will be a TON more kids that have no clue what they're doing.

While I don't find tooooo much particularly exciting about the main stages...I will be camped out in front of the side stages! There are a TON of side stage bands that I love!

Warped Tour isn't coming to Vegas! It's not like 113 is all that hot or anything is it? What kind of rockers are they if they can't take a little dry desert sunshine where you sweat your butt off and water is $4 a bottle They came in 2004 but I think they learned their lesson. I'm going to go to Cali to see the tour. Aww, this post makes me miss Warped Tour!

I'm prolly going to go. I haven't seen the line up yet though. Ours in a parking lot as well. Last year was the first year back to my city since 2003 or something so it was nice. But hotttt it was on the 4th of July lol

im definitely goin! they didnt come to nashville tn last year so that made me sad since a lot of the bands i really wanna see played it last year. the ones i wanted to see the most (avenged sevenfold, mcr, a few others..) arent playing but theres still a whole bunch more bands i wanna see! so im goin!

i love the lineup this year!!! im stoked on seeing underoath, armor for sleep, thursday and ALL those other amazing bands.

I would love to go, but, alas, I live in the middle of a cornfield and I would have to drive 8 hours to get to the nearest venue.

^^^ I'm soooo excited to see Thursday. I've waited like 4yrs for this lol I'm so mad they didn't come to my venue for Taste of Chaos (they only went to Canada I think)

I think I'm going to the LA, California Warped Tour as well as the Fresno, California one (my city).

Hah! I'm going. The one by me is held on Randels or Rikers Island (i forgot which)and it's soo much fun. I've gone for the last 2 years with my brother. And yes, the sideshows are always the best. Accually, my friends band is performing and im soo excited!
