ok.... I see what is goin0g on the reason why you are unable to advance your heel stretch further is because of a couple of things 1) the position of your foot(if you notice on your picture your foot and knee are turned away from the front of your body but your thigh is still a bit turned forwards.... this cause you to make more of a twisting type heel stretch instaed of a linear stretch.... have your knee and foot face forward in the beginning and later we will go through the next step for you to be able to do the heel stretch with a turnout.2) your hips and torso are also too rigid (this a big part to getting your leg behind your shoulder) you should also focus on keeping your waist loose and to open your hips more.... try these 2 exercises and your heel stretch will improve 1st stretch.... lie on your left side(leaning slightly forward towards the floor) with your right hand on the floor and your left hand up by your head and your hand reaching up towards the ceiling, bring your right leg up and twist a little to grab your right ankle with your left hand and pull down for a 5 count and repeat 10 times. repeat this on the opposite side...the trick once you count to 5, leave your leg in the heel stretch without holding it there with your hand by doing this the muscle will start to relax and go further. So what you are doing more or less is a "passive" heel stretch in which you have your leg up in the heel stretch position without using your hands and relaxing your legs and a assisted heel stretch by pulling with your hand.... you should about 5 minutes to do 10 reps on each leg the 2nd stretch is pretty easy sit on the floor in a balanced position(back straight and head high and aligned raise up your left leg and grab your left ankle with your right hand and pull the leg straight and try to pull the left leg behind your left shoulder hold for a 5 count and then switch to the opposite leg do this 10 times on each leg.... good luck
