You've never heard of them?! That's a balletic sin! Haha, anyways, SBA is at fort canning park, near douby Ghaut MRT, pretty 'quiet' place, natural lovely place and the girls there are all quite something. SCGS is a girls secondary school, their dancers are well up to standard too =) As for wheres that.. I don't quite remember, ask them.

I was not very passionate in dancing at first. I stopped dancing ballet at my secondary. Then, I started dancing Chinese Dance when I entered uni (NTU) due to a feeling of longing to dance ballet again (I felt that chinese dance was a bit like ballet, so i joined). Then, I sort of falling in love. I become very addicted to dancing and watch dancing videos.
I am looking for a ballet class here. I hope I can dance ballet again, and dance forever and ever.

Sorry, I'm aware that I'm not exactly 'introducing' myself, but I was wondering what good studios are there in tampines or pasir ris..? Also, when does one go en pointe? Is there any hope for a teen beginner to go en pointe?

Thanks a lot! :D

Oh, I was thinking of joining Attitude Arts cos from all the forum posts I've read it seems like a wonderful studio (though I havent seen the studio myself, or known anyone from the studio in person..) but its really far and I take about an hour from where I live to get there, and another hour back...

Is Attitude really that good, and is it worth it to spend so much time travelling, cos I still have school and all that....

No, 14 is definitely not too old to take up ballet and go en pointe! You will not be as advanced as those girls your age who have been taking classes since they were very young. However, if you are passionate about ballet, very hardworking and talented, you may catch up with them in a few years and, yes, go en pointe!

You should probably take a trial class to see if you like Attitude, or any other dance studio for that matter. I've heard good things about the teachers. If travelling time is a concern, I'm sure you can find other good dance studios nearer to where you are.

Happy dancing.
