Beginner gymnast

Hello all,

I just started gymnastics about a month ago, which I go twice a week. I am trying to get my strength and flexibility increased dramatically, but I am impatient; Does anyone know what is the best exercises for stretching and upperbody strength? It would be greatly appreciated!
