I have been asked to go in to a local primary school and make up a dance for the children for them to follow. Now i thoghut i could make up some sort of bollywood moves, but i foun out someone else is coming in to do katthrak (sp) which is telling stories with the hands. Now im stuck, should i carry on with this? or try some african dance? Also a bit stuck for warm up ideas and what type of moves should i use as some of these children will be young. Should i use two dances one for the elder children and a more simplier for the younger children? agh its crazy any ideas would be really appreciated thankyou.
