So i was wondering...what music does everyone use for their programs???

I'm currently using the Entr'acte from Beauty and the Beast for my intermediate test music. But I think I might change it to something from either memoirs of a geisha or lemony snicketts.

My pairs program is to swing music, like In The Mood and Sing Sing Sing. I don't have a current freestyle program but I used to skate to the Mission and E.T. I've always liked songs from musicals too.

Ive done:
Phantom of the Opera
Mame
Stranger on the Shore
Disney's Illuminations
Swing Medley
And some polka-ish music that I never really found the real name for...oops
And our last Free Dance was to....you guessed it:
Cirque du Soleil...Journey of Man: Birth
Cirque's music is just so wonderfully expressive that it almost takes care of the artistry for you :) Plus it doesnt hurt that it was written to be athletically performed to.

Wow you all have had some great music! I have to agree with you about Cirque...it is awesome music!

I just remembered some of my old programs:
This old country thing that sounded like it was off a record
A Celtic Medley
Music from A Walk in the Clouds (My favorite, besides beauty and the beast)

I've had lots of strange music! I did jellicle cats for my footwork once, then used Vanessa Mae, a disney medley by Lea Salonga, Nessun Dorma (my fave so far) and Over the Rainbow by Jimi Hendrix. Dying to do a fun swing piece or something soon.
