This year (8-18/6/2006), the IFDA is coming back to its birthplace to celebrate its twentieth anniversary. Internationally renowned artists from Australia, China, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, South Africa, the UK, the USA and other parts of the world will be joined by the best that Hong Kong’s dance community in commemoration of this momentous occasion. There will be cutting-edge productions, site-specific happenings, films, mass dance, community events, conferences, workshops, and classes that explore this year’s theme of ‘Imagine. Capture. Project.’

The event is commissioned by the Arts Development Council, supported by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, and produced by the Hong Kong Dance Alliance in partnership with the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. The major Festival partners include CCDC Emergency Lab, the Hong Kong Dance Federation, the Association of Hong Kong Dance Organizations, and Goethe-Institut Hongkong.

Is anybody else excited? I printed the Class schedule already and the places are filling up really quickly. Better get my application in...
I don't get why they call the classes "Master Classes". There are some Open and Int. level ones too, and I'm going to take those.

I GOT MY APPLICATION IN. Now I just have to wait for the tickets and PASS MY EXAMS.
