I was thinking about how quiet Arabesque Dorm has been lately and was wondering if maybe anyone was interested in putting on a production?I would be happy to help with it if we decide to put one on.

Good idea, what kind of production? and what styles of dancing will it be?

I don't know as of yet, but I think once we get a bit more interest we could start suggesting productions.

Seeing as I've only got 3 interested, would you guys mind if I ask another dorm so it can be an Arabesque Dorm/ whatever dorm production? I need your input. Would you mind? Because I need more than 3 people for a production.

I still think we need more but we can start brainstorming productions! Or we could write our own production (like make up the story up ourselves) Anyone got some ideas?

well i do ballet mainly am starting jazz

I think a production is a good idea if everyone is interested and stays interested. I can think of at least two we have tried to do and everyone gets interested then just stops coming. I know I'm guilty of disappearing but if we do anything it really should be something fun for all. Then you have to decide if it is going to be like a dance show or a theater show or a talent show. It takes a lot of work. So who ever is up for it...if you need help I know I can help from being in charge of past things here and in the companies.

It's good I've got some interest! I think I'm going to ask the other dorms if they want to be in it.

Sounds great..you may want to post it in the main part of VIS so it will get checked more often and in each dorm. If you need help just let me know.

That's nine. I still trying to think about a production we could do with nine. I suppose we could have a recital, where we have a ballet group, jazz troupe, tap troupe etc. It all depends what sort of dance all you guys do. I really can't start a production until I know the dance types you guys do. I'll post a new thread where you fill out a form.
