Some questions about rhythmic balls en>fr fr>en

I've got a dance team that wants to use rhythmic sized balls for a routine. We won't be doing anything as extreme as you rhythmic gymnasts. It's for a dance competition. But, I was wondering where you get the balls? I was looking for something in the 10$ range. Is that possible? Also, any ideas for simple throws/balances. The girls are moderately flexible, but not extreme. They can do illusions, switch leaps, axels, etc. There are eight in the group. I know there are group rhythmic routines, but I can't seem to get anywhere to see one. Do you have any choreographic ideas?
Are there any sites where I can get some ideas?
Please help if you can. Thanks!

For routines there is a very good address: rsgvideos.com (a lot of individual routines but you'll find plenty of group routines as well ;) )

As for balls I paid mine about 15 euros I think and it's an ordinary yellow FIG approved ball. I found it in a sportsstore (live in Belgium). You can order them through internet but you'll pay a lot more then and if it's just for a single competitions it's probably wasting money.

Some online sites:

www.amco.com.au . . .

You may find them a bit difficult to 'hold on too' at first (rg girls get used to them) so try not to have them too inflated (which will make them easier to catch) and running them under a cold tap (then drying them) will make them more sticky and you'll find you have a better grip :)

If you need any help with choreography or ball technique, PM me.. im a dancer and a gymnast :)

Crystal xoxo
