I know most dance teams perform a variety of styles. What forms does your dance team perform? Which do you love and which do you hate to do?

I love performing jazz. It's so ah-mazing. Everything is fun to perform, but kick stinks when it's a cramped stage.

I don't do novelty.

I prefer jazz because I think you can have such a wide range of technique and styles. Every dance is different.

My elast favorite is hip hop, because I'm horrible at it!

for dance team it's hip-hop b/c its so fun and the crowd always gets into it at games and stuff.

I like a mix of Hip-Hop and Jazz. Some Pom is okay too though. I love watching the dance competitions on TV where they have to perform 30 seconds of Jazz, 30 seconds of Pom, and 30 seconds of Hip-hop.

I like novelty at pep rallies because they keep everyone entertained, but I really like jazz. It so fun and really makes me work! I don't really like pom though...it's too structured.

I prefer pom pon. Most people don't like it because it is too "robot like", but that's why I like it! It just looks so clean, and I love routines that look absolutly polished

I really like to do pom because of all the visual effects that you can do. However, jazz has just that little extra by adding all of that technique. Don't get me wrong, you can add technique in a pom but most of the competitinos that I go to don't judge that element of the routine and get no points of difficulty for it. So why add it when that is just another thing that could possibly go wrong on performance day instead of sticking to clean lines (formations and body placement).
