Hi Im from Mexico and am a teacher at the Conservatory of Music and Dance ESMYD in Monterrey, NL. I found this webpage and found it interesting. I teach modern dance, floor barre, classical ballet, afro jazz, body expression and choreography besides my own technique dance percussion. I have a company that has performed in USA, Canada, India, Cuba, Peru, etc. My dancers have studied 5 years in the conservatory through very strick professional study. They have to go to our school for training during 5 hours a day, everyday. The main training is classical cuban ballet techique and graham technique. But they also get training in limon or Cunnigham. I believe strongly in techique. I work mainly in the Conservatory and with my company. I also give master classes and workshops all over the country and other countries.
