Hi everyone again!

I thought this would be a very interesting thread to start, so here I am starting it =)

I think we'd all have some fun trying to choreograph free enchainment exercises and trying some that our fellow DDN friends have choreographed... so don't wait! get some now and post them! Any non-syllabus work, challenging, technical, confusing, tricky, or fascinating ones!

Feel free to discuss any free enchainment stuff here too =)

Hope this becomes sticky someday and everyone won't run out of exercises to do =)

haha, yup. the funny thing is it took me quite long to realize that it was temp de fleche...

when Ms Chien first said it, we couldn't really get what she was pronoucing.. I managed to guess temp de, but didn't know the last word... and my friend was like HUH?! What? Thunder Flash?!?! and we were all laughing away..., it was only after I stepped out of class that it strucked me that the last word pronouced fleche. Fun step haha, but I don't have very high extensions to do it =(

Thunder flash? LMAO! Haha... What a way to have heard it!
Oh. Temp de fleche is the step of the arrow. Hard to explain... But anyway... Usually, glissades en avant precede it. Then after that you do a grand battement with the right leg while jumping off the left leg, and do a rond de jamb en l'air en dedan with the now extended right leg. After that, you land on the right leg and do a rond de jamb en l'air en dehor with the left leg and extend it out en fondu. And vice versa.
Yups. My description may not be accurate at all, but this is the way i was taught. Somehow, others are also taught to just that the left leg just doing a battemnt developpe. Yups.

Hmm, the way we were taught was much simpler... it was more of a attitude grand battement with the L leg, and then the R leg temp leves, pique into a developpe, landing en fondu with the L leg...

I guess the rond de jambe version sounds a little harder.. but it doesn't sound as sharp... as a thunder flash would -.- LOL!
