Last month, we had try-outs and I was terrified that I wouldn't make the squad. We were there for at least ten hours before they gave us our scores and I got captain!!! I'm soooooo happy! Now I just have to stay this happy for the rest of the year!

I was trying out for captain specifically. But when I went in the gym to do my slo routine, I did one eight count and my flag broke! The flag came completely off the pole and I was just going to ignore it, but they made me stop and start over. Then I got so nervous that my palms started to sweat and I thought the flag was going to fly out of my hands! (It did happen to the other girl who tried out for captain) Thanks for all of your help this year. You guys have taught me soo much stuff that I included in my routine.
