I find these exercises really effective, so try them! I gathered them from different people, but there are a lot of people asking things like this, so I thought I would post them.

First sit ups. Yes, they are boring but they help. Do about 20 or something to start because you will get tired quickly.

Crunches. Lift you upper half and lower half at the same time. I always find that this makes my tailbone hurt if I do it on a hard floor so do this on a cushion or something. Same amount as above.

Next lie down on your back. Lift up your legs, toes pointed and knees straight until they are about 45 degrees. Hold them there for as long as you can. Don’t forget to breathe. Then relax.

Now, lift your legs again, hold for 10 seconds. Lift them very slowly up so that they are perpendicular to your body (90 degrees) Hold them there for 5 seconds, then take another 5 to move them back to where they were before. Hold for as long as you can. Now lower your legs slowly to the ground. Repeat as many times as you can.

Lie on your belly and place your elbows on the floor beneath you. Push your body up so it is in a press up position, only resting on your elbows. Hold for 10 seconds.

Lie on your side, one elbow supporting you, the other arm doing anything but supporting you. Perhaps along your side. Lift up your body so that it is straight as before. Hold for ten seconds.

Remember to lower yourself down, and not just flop.

These exercises have been very helpful to me getting a much stornger stomach!
