i love your handstand pictures the most, they look great. Your main wolf jump beam picture is really interesting too. It would be my favourite out of them if it wasn't wolf jump related. For some reason i just don't find them very appealing, but thats with wolf jumps in general and not your wolf jump in particular.
Anyways keep up the good work

I dont particularly love the look of wolf jumps either, but in the new code wolf 1/2 is an easy B on beam and i was short of B's.
I like the handstand photo's best too, because post artistic gym (after i quit i competed for the university but barely trained) i was a middle/base in sports acro, and though i never got to be a top i grew a passion for handstands and flexibility.

ahh the good old wolf jump story. I think the code is why most of us have done some form of wolf jump at one time or another. Its actually funny how they still have so much value. The other funny thing is how their called all sorts of different animal names depending on where you go. ive heard wolf jump, duck jump and fish jump so far.

If you dont mind me asking, what uni did you compete for? What kind of level are the university competitors generally at?

I went to leeds metropolitan university (in the UK). BUSA (British Universities Sports Association) rules for the gymnastics team event (and grade 2 individual) are relatively easy, we only needed 3 or 4? B's, lotsa A's, and the special requirements. Therefore it was more of an execution based competition (i.e. land everything solid, hit splits in leaps, kick out of somi's.). On vault the people who medal generally do somersault vaults (e.g. tsuks). For the grade 1 individual competition the rules are full FIG code. People who do grade one are normally those who still train properly with a club, as opposed to, for example, just the 5 measly hours a week our university gave us to train (even though we had a regional gymnastics centre on our university campus which was empty a lot!). The men generally seem to have a lot more gymnasts competing at a much higher level.
Are you at university? what uni do you go to?
