Please explain your answer. We have at most three guys in VIS. Should we open up and let them in DPO?

I'm not a member of this (I actually just discovered what vis is and I've been a member of DDN for over a year) but isn't the whole point of a sorority is that it's about sisterhood? Maybe someone could make a Frat for guys.

Not to be rude, but have you ever been to VIS before this?

We have about 2 guys total in VIS. That's why this question comes up, there is not enough for a fratenity.

I see three people have said no, but didnt explain why. If you did or you are planning to, please tell us why you said no. We have one guy in VIS and having just a sorority is very biased. He should be able to join in with us, and we could also have girls only things too.

I clicked on "sororities" because I was curious about the big Ball I'd heard about.

Well I'm a guy and I voted no just because I feel like I'm already "intruding" into a woman's world just be being in VIS to begin with! And the more I read here, the more I feel I don't really belong.

In VIS for one thing, but definately not in a sorority.

Honestly, I feel this shouldn't be called a sorority. I feel its just wrong.

Dance is usually called a girls sport but that didn't stop the guys from joining and it has never bothered any of the girls yet, and sororities are usually for girls too but if they can join a "girls sport" why can't they join a sorority? I think we could let the couple that want to join, join.

I say yes. Same reasoning as plie. Guy's should be aloud in. I feel mean not letting them in.

I am flattered beyond words that you would even consider letting us in. But as other girls and guys have already pointed out sororities are for girls. I would love to be invited to a party or other events when you girls decide it is appropriate. I hope we get to start a Fraternity soneday. Maybe i can find some guys who have been around here a while to help me start one. Or maybe a girl could point me in the right direction to get one going. Thank you all for being so considerate.

On second thought it could be a lot of fun!
