This is very interesting to know. My two girls aren't sponsored but a few at our dance school are. Well done to all dancers who are!

Thank you for letting us know about how the sponsored costume sale works - I am fortunate that Abbi is sponsored for solo's and has had fantastic costumes made for her. Even though I advertise the sale of any such costumes on her sponsor's behalf it would only be fair and right for them to receive the sale money as it goes towards the next sponsored costume.

I know its not as good as being sponsered but it saves you a lot of money and you get a great cozzie. The answer is look out for sponsered costumes that are for sale . They are normally in good condition as the dancer has a new sponsered cozzie and they are reasonably priced. I just bought a great x sponsered one from Gossip and it looks great and is still in fashion.

Good to know the rules, I never really understood how people could sell a costume claiming it was a sponsor suit. Thanks

Very interesting to know. If you are lucky enough to be sponsored in the first place that's great - it doesn't seem fair to make money out of the costume as well.

i totally agree, if a dancer is sponsored and given costume by sponsor why then should that dancer profit when it is sold.

My Daughter has been dancing for a year and a half now and in that short space of time is champ in everything. I was wondering how children get sponsored are you able to contact sponsors yourself?

Dance teachers are approached about sponsorship not ususally the dancer although some designers run competitions to find sponsors or do it through a promoter x
