I like the new and improved teacher section. Thank you so much. I can't wait to see it fill up with good stuff.

The Job Talk section will be mainly for....

Venting?
Available teaching positions?
Syllabus discussions?
Advice on problem students or classes?

Just wondering. As a teacher, I appreciate the time and effort put into 'our' section. I've grown dependent on these pages over the last year and half. :P

How do you post a new topic? This is confusing.
I hope this is not the final version of the new message board. I also hope they finally get a SEARCH on here.

Wildlaker--you can ALWAYS search on DDN by going up to the top right of your screen and using that search box. You can choose to Google or DDN search.

As for posting, when you click on the grey-that-turns-green 'teacher' tab at the top of the screen it will bring you to the Main teacher page, within that you will find the sub-catagories of the Teacher tab. When you click on a Teacher - Welcome or Teacher - Job Talk etc then you will see the "Post" "Vote" buttons.

I was confused at first, but I love the new set-up. Much more user friendly and I happy about the catagories.

Hope that helped.

Ok, I get it now. It took a little playing with to realize how to use it.
You mean to tell me all of this time there's been a search on here and I never even knew it! Wow, cool!

I have to say it looks spiffy!
BIG thank yous for taking the time for the teachers!

I like the fact that it puts "ask a teacher" in front of my face!
I always had a hard time remembering to go in there. I figure somebody was willing to want to ask us I should at least take time to read it!

I also like they put an assistant forum, I really wish I would have had a place like this when I was assisting & I know I would still be lost with out my own asst. sometimes!

Just one question, Where did our VENT! sticky go???
I did like reading it, at least I knew I wasn't alone!

I have to agree. This new setup is very nice. I appreciate the accessibility and organization of the topics. It no longer takes such a long time to find exactly what I am looking for! Love it :)
