I was wondering how long it usually takes to obtain approval of the salute?

How long it takes to get the Salute Eye Icon?

I have a couple of questions:

I mostly want to post pictures of my arches, the positions, and other movements where my face isn't showing. Do I sitll need a salute? I'm not really fodn of posting my face on the WWW where soem random person could come look at my face.

Also, could I just PM my salute to a mod or whatever instead?

can i sell cozzies with pictures of me wearing them without a salute or do i need one to do this? As someone told me you dont need a salute if you are just selling cozzies.

But what does the eye icon look like and how do I know if I have gotten the OK once I have posted my salute? I haven't posted one yet but when I do I qould like to know how I will know if I can go ahead and post pictures

Not to sound like everyboby else, but why haven't i got my eye yet? I posted my salute about a week ago and check every day.

Please could you tell me when the eye icon is attached to your dance net name. My daughter has posted her salute but the eye icon does not appear next to her name when she posts messages.

So if i take me slaute picture as instructed on here, do i post it on this page to get the eye icon? Will it come up automatically? PLease help i want to do this soon!

Post it on this board..'dance.net salutes'

one of the moderaters then look at it to make sure your paper has lines on etc. then if its ok they will give you your eye, sometimes it happens soon, other times its a few hours

1) we post the picture under dance.net solutes right?

2) can i use a webcam to take that pic?

do you have to post other salutes, like a pointe shoe salute, or pet salute? i thought you just had to do a 'face' salute?

Man I'm really glad I read this. I was about to take pictures of my feet for some post to help me find a good pointe shoe.

...then I found out I needed to post a salute, but I had no idea what that was. So thanks, that's next on my list of things to do.

So, i don't need to have a salute right? (its stated that as long as pics don't look too professional or fake you don't need one). I just want to clear that up, considering it seems like everyone is saying if you want to post a pic of yourslelf you NEED a salute...
