Thanks for taking the time to write this. This was really clear and helped me. I am a beginner of two, almost three months, and I will try this to help my turnout and to help me hold this while dancing.

This is a very helpful post. I can see from the comments that many other people have found this to be helpful in their dancing. Unfortunately, the videos do not work. I think that they would be very helpful. Sometimes written directions are harder for people to understand.

Big thanks from an adult beginner Irish dancer! I haven't practiced any sort of dance that involves turnout since I was a little girl, so this will really aid my retraining process. I'm starting to think that I should take some ballet to gain a better understanding of my body and to build a solid foundation for my Irish dancing.

Those are great! You might want to edit the post and make sure that you put something about the fact that they are videos..... At first, I thought they were strange pictures (my bad ) but then as I scrolled through the comments I saw someone talk about the VIDEOS, so then I clicked on them and they were indeed videos! Thanks for posting!
