Well, I am teaching 3 classes this season and they are all 3, 4 and some 5 year olds. But wach class is soooooo different in behavior and attention span. 2 of the 3 classes the kids are awesome bu tthislast class is a probelm. I have a crier, and a temper tantrum thrower. They seem to never listen and if I try and teach over the crying and screaming the others stand there and watch the problem 2. I have tried time out and calling for an assistant, nothing helps. Should I have the parents withdraw these 2 kids? They really ruin the class for everone else. I only have 8 tp 10 kids in each class so size is not a problem. I tried hula hoops today and nearly went crazy because they would not leave them be or pay any attention. Should this class be put on notice that they may not be in the recital if they can not handle a 45 minute class. I feel very frustrated. 1 Replies to What to expect for recital |

Dear Tinydancers,
Give this child a few more weeks. If you do not see a change
speak to the studio owner. The child might not be ready. If the studio owner agrees let the parents know that there child is not ready and to try next year.
