Just an update folks,
Checked out that rubber roofing stuff; seemed to have a little too much grip for me, and I think the taps would kill it. I would've loved to have something cheaper, but I went ahead and purchased the TimeStep T(the one you can also tap on) from Stagestep.

We installed this on top of our floating subfloor. I'm loving it! (but my pocketbook isn't!)

I saved alot of money on the installation though because I got some guys from a local mission that do volunteer work(you can give donations to the organization)to install the entire floor. Most of the guys are carpenters and the directions were easy to follow. They did an awesome job!
