For those on (generic) Synthroid, do you feel warm enough from that med's affects? en>fr fr>en

Please pardon the convoluted message here. The reason why I ask this, is that I'm on a dose of levoxythyroxine, plus, I'm taking a t-3, Cytomel, so that my body will accept the levox into my system. And I still feel cold, and I still get chills. In addition, I am bundling up, while people around me are in t-shirts and light sweaters.

I've repeatedly spoken to my doctor and my endocrinologist, and they've taken blood samples, but the results of those tests are always in the "normal" range.

Have any of you experienced these symptoms, what have you done? Did you get an opinion from another endocrinologist? Did you find a supplement that helped you not be so prone to cold and chills?

I think the biggest thing is that I'm still craving carbs and gaining weight in the Fall. I'd LOVE to find out the reason why.

Also, please, if you all could share your advice, information, I am greatly appreciative. Mainly, because a friend of ours is on Synthroid/levox., and she's totally warm, to the point where when I was over visiting, I was putting on all her afgans, and she was sitting there in a t-shirt -- ?!?!?

Thanks,

Shadow.

Shadow.
