My name is Tipharah and I'm 19, I have been an assistant for 1 1/2 years and this weekend (11/4) will be my first performance that I'm running myself (i've been teaching classes and running rehaersals for the last couple weeks.)

My name is Oletha and I'm 14 almost 15.(My birthday is only 2 weeks away!!!)

I feel so young! My name is annie and I'm 13! I'm grade 7 (just did my g6 exam yesterday) and intermediate ballet and grade 4 modern and tap and i also do jazz dance. I dance 6 days a week. I help my teacher out with Pre-primaries and grade 1 (they did their Primary exam the same day i did g6.

Ok so i just graduated from high school and only been dancing for 3 years... and i am now working for a dance company a drill team thing... but thats not the problem... the problem is that i am now working at a dance studio where i am teaching 3 jazz classes... well the thing is that their previous teacher would only teach them the type of jazz barney does... some of this girls are flexible but they dont know thier skills they just know shake shake and jump around!!! i was so freaked out!! not only that but we had this coreographer from new york to coreograph some dances for some of the soloist!! poor guy he tried real hard... he asked the 11 year old girl whos been dancing for 8 years if she knew wut contractions where!!! or a piruette and she said no!! that they never did all that!! omg i wanted to die!!

so if anyone can help me out here....

i've been dancing for about 15 years and been an assistant for around 4. right now i'm only helping with the 10-12 competition class and some privates with the way my work and school is. but hopefully next semister i'll be back to helping with the baby combo classes and the 8-10 competition class again.

wel ere goes my story! im sharon 16 dis ear! i love dancing sooooo much...but i never went to a dancing school or class! my parentz cant afford it! so i do it my self at home! i pick up steps by watchin tv! after finishin my studies i am plannin 2take up or go to a dancing school or college! but den der is a question can i keep up, i mean i hav never went 2 any dancing school or classes before! but den i found dis site! i swear i was soooo happy! gettin 2 know people with a same intrest is amazing! i can hardly talk 2anybody bout this ere! they will tink im crazy takin dancin as a career! wel i wanna know if its possible for a person dat has no xperience at all but does know how to dance tink bout dancing as their career! i would b really thankful if anybody would help me out! plz!!!
