I would just like to remind to everyone that once your question has been answered or your time limit is up, you need to lock your post. I have seen several posts already that were not locked when they should have been. I understand that this board is new and that you might be forgetting, but please try to as it's pretty annoying looking through the posts and reminding people they need to lock their threads.
MODS- could we get that little box with a few rules at the tops, like in some other areas of the forum? Just a suggestion, to remind people.
So if anyone has any questions or comments or disagrees with me about this, you can PM me, but please just lock your posts when it's appropriate.
And I don't think I have sen any posts like this so far, but just as another reminder, an emergency is only an emergency if you need it within 3 days or less. Again, if anyone has any issues with this they can PM me and I guess if something arises we could make some rules or change the current ones.
So don't take this offensivly - this is just so that hopefully people will remember now. 14 Replies to Please Lock Your Posts! |

Why would she need to lock this post? It's explaining things and its a way to help other people's post get noticed after the others are done. |

Alright, another thing:
many posts don't have a time limit...a few of them at least.
Just keep that in mind.

Perhaps there could be some option where they're automatically locked... I'm off to suggest it on tell dance.net |

For others who want someone to lock their post, a PM to them or a mod should help get all the posts locked.

Hi
Just wanted to say that I think dancegal2's suggestion is great. If people did happen to forget to lock their posts, than this would solve all matters.

Just thought i'd say that there is already a function that automatically locks posts after 60 days. I think that that's quite a long time though so maybe the time could be shorter? Anywayz..

As ChoCho said, you go to edit. No, wait you don't go to edit you go to options and then enter your reason for locking the thread. |
