Hiya,

There is a great hairspray currently on the market I found out just how great it was when I used it at my dance show! Tresemee Freeze Hold

It works a treat and holds your hair tightly inplace. It is easy to brush out. For styles such as loops or spikes its great because it is very strong. A little of it goes a long way!

Hope this helps!

Hiya,
I love those big buns with all the loops and grips, they look fantastic!
The thing is my hair is really long and used to be really thick. Its gotten thinner lately, but its still really heavy and I know that if I did my hair in one of those buns for slow it would fall out straight away!
Has anyone got any advice on how to make my hair look that gorgeous and stay put while I dance??
Thanks
Amy xx

Hi Emma
My daughters new to the world of dance and you definitely seem to be the person to talk to about hair and make-up!!!!

Great post by the way and I'm looking forward to attempting some styles for her first comp on the 1st March!

She is only just 6 so going to be in the U8 beginners am I right in thinking the rules have changed re make-up? I'm getting really confused what is she allowed?

Thanks so much
Katrina

LADY GAGA BOWS!:

1) Straightenyour hair
2) tie your hair back in a ponytail
3) backcombe the ponytail and spray with hairspray
4) split ponytains into 3 sections
5) 2 sides with the same amount of hair and the middle with a little amount of hair.
6) Make a large barrel curl wih one of the large amounts of hair, and the same on the other side.
7) with the middle small amount of hair, barrel curl tat of the middle which the that represents the knot of the bow.
PUT LOADS OF HAIRSPRAY ON!

xx
