Russia - General Differences in language en>fr fr>en By Brazil Comments: 230, member since Thu Dec 08, 2005On Fri Oct 13, 2006 09:31 PM
Was just wondering if other people might have noticed the difference in the russian language that different people speak. A lot of people that I know who speak russian speak very classical russian becuase they are all 2 or 3 generation in the USA. Becuase of this thier language is kinda frozen in time: We have all sorts of different expression and many words that are used now are completely new to us. Ive also noticed hw much words from foreign languages are translitterated into russian, even though there already are words that mean that same thing. These other words might be transliterated from other languages but at least they have been in use a lot longer. 1 Replies to Differences in language |
