This year my school kinda got rid of guard (see my previous vent for more info) and so for winter guard my friend and I really want to get it back off the guard but were kinda stumped. You see i want to do wicked my friend doesnt so any ideas will be much help

You're school got rid of guard? But you need a winter show? How does that work...?

my school got rid of guard marching season(but we still had 3 rifles and swing flag) but now if we want a winterguard we needto get alot of good ideas and approach our band director because i think he missses guard and is open for us to have one this winter but we cant think of any ideas that we havent already done or some other schol has done

I figured this doesnt warrant a new thread since some of my older threads from MONTHS ago are still on the front page

Well My friend and i talked to my band director and and he said since we are going to London this year we need to be pro-active


so we are going to have an info meeting on the 29th to hopefully drum up some interest and also we are going to get a rifle genuis and all around awesome guard guy to chreograph for us which is great.

we thought up of using Welcome to the jungle but I want to kinda mix it with other songs to give it a more jungle theme (and also durring Slashes guitar solo Axle is breathing inappropritly)

So I was wondering first what would be some other good songs to mix in and also If you have any ideas on costumes flags for a extremely budget concience guard (we just want one we dont care that much about reusing flags and a simple costume)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Sticking with the jungle theme I would say some stuff maybe from Tarzan. I know it sounds lame but there is some that is good. Good luck
