You mean splits in second position? Don't overdo it. You'll hurt yourself and end up worse than you started. We have a great stretching board with some terrific advice on this topic.

Alot of it is turnout and hip placement. Keep your legs slightly in front of your body, as if you are doing a straddle stretch. Keep your back straight and torso aligned, and POP your legs when you peak. |
