If all else fails - you could always dance a fling in santa hats.

Jingle bells, you can dance the fling to it.
Or you could go all out and do a whole choreography, I did one with one person as a reindeer, one as an elf and one as Santa. It was really fun. You can find costume pieces for that all over. Hope this helped!

The Barra McNeils christmas album has some good music for choreography.

Jingle Bell Rock works well for a funky kind of fling. I have seen it done in rolled up jeans, tartan hose, white T-shirts and Santa hats. Just add some more zest to the 4 step fling and it looks neat.
Of course the cakewalk done as Mr. and Mrs. Clause is always a hit. My daughter has done it for years. highlandtoes -mom

Piping Hot Christmas is a fantastic CD. We use it often for our Christmas Ramble. As for costume, we use our white lilt dresses, the santa hats that have the braids, white knee hi's, and plaids and brooch. We use those giant candy canes for broadswords, and dance the jig with Christmas aprons and black knee hi's.

The happy thing about Christmas is that all the fabric stores are selling plaid fabric in red and green shades...and often with lurex-y shiny threads woven in. So it's definitely a good time for if you're making a new outfit for this. :)
