First off, oranges said that I should post this on here. Sororities here on my campus have what's called "sweethearts." They're basically guys that hang out with them a whole lot, and they're sort of honorary members of the sorority, since no sororities in the U.S. allow guys in them due to certain laws. Co-ed Greek organizations are all called "fraternities" regardless of the number of females in it. Anyways, sweethearts go to pretty much every sorority event, and all that good stuff. It's kind of a way for sororities to show particular guys that they're special and they can hang out all the time (and bake the sorority cookies and stuff, haha). It's pretty neat, I'm not gonna lie. Anyways, just giving you guys another option there regarding guys in the sorority.

What do you girls think? It would be a way for the guys in VIS to join us in here.

I don't think they chose a specific female. They are just a "sweetheart" to the entire sorority. It's just an alternate name to allow them to belong without breaking sorority rules of no guys.

I think it would be a cute idea. We will still have our events that will be just girls. But now we can have some with guys too?

That sounds like a good idea. Good way to include guys in some events, and have others that are girl only.
