Hey, I'm just curious as to what you guys have been doing at basketball games. All my team has been doing is:
prep/heal stretch/liberty with a straight cradle
Arebesque/scale/scorpian with a bump down (pencil drop)

It's getting pretty boring so I was wondering if any of your teams have come up with fun stuff to do durig time outs without breaking the rules (an NCA cheerleader goes to my school so no we are actually following them, though I imagine some schools aren't). Thanks!

For those who don;t know. NCAA/NCA made saftey regulatiosn for what colleges cheerleaders can't do without a mat on a basketball court.
These are no long allowed:
Twist up into stunts (360's)
Twist out of stunts (single or doube)
2-2-1's (3 person high pyramids)
Basket tosses

Since we're all the way up in Canada seems that NCA doesn't give a hoot what we do, so anything still goes for us.

one lil (simple) sequence is extension-straight cradle reload-libery-j down-quarter turn to an arabeske...

another is load in with one foot, have the flyer lift her opposite foot up and over the base's head and keep it parallel to the ground dip and press up to an arabeske

and the last one we do is a yo-yo to a torch

(those rules stink...i loved doing my b-tosses!!)

How about some team tumbiling across the court. When I cheered we would do ripple backhandsprings or roundoff backhandsprings or just free tumbling--- the crowd loved it!!
