Vote for your favorite type of dance to preform!

When I was on drill we did Dance, Novelty, Prop, Military, and Kick. Dance was just our jazz, and I loved that, but my favorite was probably novelty, which is when we had a theme and dressed up with a background and props. That was the funnest.

In our drill team for contest we do a Military, Pom, Jazz, and Novelty.

Novelty is the funnest to perform because you get to goof off in front of an audience and you get alot of feedback(clapping and cheering) while performing. I also like Jazz because you get to put your personality in it. Military and Pom are also good but not quite as appealing to me as the other two.

My team has done Jazz, Pom, Kick, and Prop Novelty, but not all in the same year. Our squad was too small this year to do kick and we didn't our captains didn't want to do prop novelty. The year before we did prop, pom, and kick. I liked prop the best. We did a Moulin Rouge theme and it was really fun. Kick was cool too because we did a gangster theme to "Bad Boys","Smooth Criminal", and "Bad." I love to kick! I miss it now because this year we won't be able to with only 5 girls. -_-

Jazz for me. Kick is really hard! And, being from a studio, jazz just comes naturally.

Sorry i dont know anything about Drill Teams, but when you mention Jazz, is it just like normal jazz. Or is it a different sort of drill team jazz?

I can't speak for everyone else here, but on our team jazz was just like normal jazz, yes.

Well I really like Small dance jazz:) It's just fun!
But I come from a purely studio background that's very abstract and all, and I'm new to "drill team" anways we were at camp and we had a Lyrical session, but I just can't do lyrical in Marcea pants and jazz shoes, ahhh! I love lyrical but I had a mental breakdown for some reason I couldn't do it:/

I'm huge on the fossy(sp?) type hat fdances. They are totally fun, plus really any type of prop like ball, hoop, and tambourine. I really like dances where you kind of have to get into character instead of when have to stand out there with a smile plastered on your face. Which is what we usually do.

My drill team does hip hop, jazz, kick, prop, military, lyrical and other (easier) dances with the cheerleaders. My favorite is Prop and Hip hop.

I would have to say Jazz and Kickline.
