We have tried several but our favorite producer is Mike at CheerMixALot (cheermixalot.com). He is fast and reasonably priced.
Your music producer can tell you what themes have been done to death. Last year we had a "fire" theme, where every song said "fire," and we had a "money" theme, where all songs were money songs. I've seen so many disco themes I could cry. |

I'm not a cheerleader (poms), but we "try" to cut our own music. I use this program (I copied and pasted it below, but you go to the computers-general section, and it's on the 3rd page and it's called "Frustrated with buying music..."). If your computer is quicker, it takes like 30 sec. to download (the free version). You can change tempo and a bunch of things. The only thing is you can't over lap songs, like fade one song into another, but you can cut one song into another. Hope it helps! If not, just use some remixes on limewire.

I'm not a cheerleader, but I am a dancer. I'm not sure if this song will work for cheerleading but It works for baton twirling. It's called Tribal Dance by 2unlimited. There are remixes and stuff you can get, too. You can get it from limewire. also, maybe "everybody dance now"? I've done dance to that, too. |
