I am a dancer and I find Rhythmic Gymnastics so amazing! If they had it around me, I would def. do it. I was just wondering what you do for training to get so flexible? How many hours do you train a day/week? What stretches do you do? Thank you so much!

Most rhythmic gymnast that you see in pictures like Anna Bessonova, Irina Tchachina or Alina Kabaeva have all started when they were very young. It takes many, many years to develop the strength and flexibility they have.

It is actually quite common for ex ballet dancers to become rythmic gymnasts. At first training is just a few hours a week, but this is just to learn the basic skills. A competitive rythmic gymnast will usually train 9-16 hours a week. Much much more for one hoping to compete internationally.
