i like how some of the older girls have boobs. lol. you would think that they would tell them to lose the weight, but they already have the perfect body for ballet.

it would be such an amazing experience to go there, but i would look SOOO out of place

Wich so far i've only seen on Polina Semionova. I think fuller body types are starting to become more acceped in ballet, begining with the chest and working its way down, lol.

Boobs!?! I guess in a sea of waifs... a 32B does seem like a uvoloptuous chest;)LOL!
I adore POB dancers, and their school product and believe me, they probably are the last body type to be labeled as curvacious...If you would have seen them in person I am sure they are NOT example on how ballet`s ideal bodytype is changing...

Ballerinamum: It was a docu (in a french channel) about the first 6 months in POB for young children (8-12 years old), boys and girls.
It was in 2 parts and really interesting. About their life in POB, all the courses and what/why they want to be dancers.

Sometime they were really nice, and sometime they wanted to go back home to see parents. A boy didn't ready to prepare the POB and asked them to go home. Maybe he will go back to POB the next year. (he was 11)

Those pictures are amazing, but I must agree with some other posters that they are definately NOT curvy. I mean, you can see all the bones in their chest sticking out. But they are gorgeous. Thanks for the pictures, LaBallerine and honey_dancer!
