Styles of Dance that you take: Jazz is my first love, and on Wednesday (the 5th), I am starting adult ballet.

Comps that you do: My studio regularly competes in the Crown Casino dance competion, but my routine wasn't entered this year. If its entered next year, then I will compete.

Any other info you want to share: I guess I'm what's known as an "adult dancer".
I took jazz from the ages of 6 to 13, and then quit because I wasn't happy with the place I was dancing at. Plus I had a busted knee that I was really nervous about injuring further. I also had very little faith in my abilities as a dancer.
Then, after I finished year 12, in 2001, I didn't get into university. So, I went back to jazz at a different studio, with a friend, and I love it.
So this year I am starting ballet, as an adult, and I can't wait. I can't imagine life without dance, and I don't know why I didn't do it for so long.
Anyway, there's my little life story, ha ha.
