I have never gone to WGI Championships but now since their website has CGTV Im really excited to see all the shows and tidbits they are going to show. |

They have alot of power regionals up, it will be great to watch since I can tell you love guard. |

this is only my second year doing winter guard, but my mom is taking me to world championships this year! for anyone else going, make sure to see North Eastern Independant (two of my instructors are in NEI). ive seen their show twice and they are awesome! |

I will be at WGI world championships this year with my guard! looking forward to performing, first and foremost but I'm also extremely EXTREMELY excited to see Independent World finals! I haven't been to champs since 2004 but it's sooo exciting to see the world class guards live. this year I've caught some world guards live at the Las Vegas regional (Apex, Corona, Pride, Fantasia, In Motion, SCV) and I'm really excited for a chance to see them all (and the rest) again! |

^Corona's director is my ex-roommate. Before he started Corona, he taught Crown. So when he told me he was stating Corona, I asked him why all his guards were named after alcoholic drinks. So this year, he told me he was starting a second guard - Corona light. HEHE, I'm so proud of him. Everyone root for Corona if you're going to WGI!! |

lol! one of the things we did to start of the season was to give everyone nicknames of guards. with my name being Logan, i got James Logan High and one of my friends named Caroline got Crown (which is used more frequently than her actual name even in classes) so im really excited to see some of the top-notch guards like NEI and everyone! |

ooooh Corona is soooo beautiful.
their show is one of my favorites this year, next to Fantasia. I honestly can't wait to see them again.
EvilQueen: we have a girl in our guard who's nickname is Crown too. . .but she picked that up over the summer (drum corps) and it kind of just followed her into winter season. I got "pinky" or "princess". sometimes both. lol |
