I have a very small competition baton twirling corps. I am looking for very good condition used flags and poles. At this point in time, we cannot afford new flags and poles. We are looking for 5ft poles with flags. Hopefully, the flags would be any of the following colors: blue, white, black, silver or blues and purples mixed. We are located in Ohio, so shipping is an issue. This would be for competition, so condition does matter.

5" poles are CHEAP! Find an aluminum dealer and have them cut 10" poles in half. Should run you about $2-$3/pole. You might have to call around, but it's worth it.

Home Depot, Lowe's, Ace Hardware usually aren't expensive either. Find a mom with a sewing machine and a willingness to try and you have yourself some homemade flags. If you don't a mom who's willing to try call a local winterguard and find out who makes their flags. If you supply the fabric (use your Jo-Ann's circular and you can get 50% off a purchase... including fabric) and offer to pay them. Since you are new and guards tend to help out their own they may do it for a very low fee.
