I am a studio owner and fairly new to DDN. If someone posts a question in the wrong area I don't think it should be a big deal. There are many people who are new to this site (like myself). I am here because I am a passionate dancer, studio owner, teacher & choreographer. I support the art and anyone who needs advice or assistance to better themselves & their view.

I think in general, that's a good idea, however when you're running a big project then the small things matter. It's like a dance studio (I'm a teacher) - if you say that everyone has to have black shoes, then everyone has to have black shoes. The moment you start making exceptions, it releases a tidal wave that becomes impossible to hold back.

Forum specifications are here to make things easier and better for everybody - we've had numerous instances in the past there the music forum has been flooded with music requests, and the music search forum is completely dead.

You don't EVER post something that snotty. Ever. Whether you're new or not,there's no excuse. And so what if you're new? Don't you take time to look around when you go somewhere new before getting right into doing things? Same thing applies to DDN or any other forum.

New people, look around before you go post crazy. It's not that hard. Hell, even ask us questions...we don't bite, unless you bite first!

A piece of advice for the above poster, read the stickies at the top of every board. They're in bold for a reason- so you SEE them and READ them, because they are there to HELP you. Also, think before you speak. Your post wasn't necessary at all. So why don't YOU get over it and realize that things are done a certain way around her for a reason, so if you don't like it, you're free to leave.







I know she posted like months ago, but I'm sort of grouchy today. "Arrest me." Haha
