Grandma uniforms? Pfft. They're cute!

I dunno they aren't bad, the whole team called them grandma uniforms I guess a little old fashioned not as much as our actual grandmother cheerleaders lol. I thought they were more like little kid uniforms, but I guess coming from an all star program, they resembled the peewees uniforms.

For football season we had to wear cut up t shirts (since the school only gave us larges) with shorts because our uniforms "weren't in yet" our old coach never ordered them. So then for basketball season the upperclassmen wore the new uniforms they bought last year and the freshmen had to wear the old ones so we were miss matched. I ended up buying a new one from a girl who didn't cheer this year but I only got to wear it twice and not compete in it. Here's the new ones compared to the old one's, we went all basketball season like this hoping to have new ones for competition but the company said they wouldn't be in in time.

That's so crappy about your coach. Why would she just not order uniforms and then lie about it? How irresponsible.

She did a lot of crazy things, she told us she had sweatshirts and warmups too but that they were in her car which she couldn't drive because it was stick and she broke her hand (her hand was wrapped was it broken? I have no idea. She also told us she was diabetic, as an exscuse for missing practice to work because she needed health insurance. She didn't have a pump, or scars. I guess it's possible for her to have type 1 since she was a lot smaller than her family but she drank coke and had bagels with strawberry cream cheese and stuff). So we have no idea if these sweatshirts ever existed, if they do I wonder who paid for them since they were supposed to be covered by our sponsor who also never existed. Which is why she never ordered the uniforms. We never paid her for them because she told us they were paid for. I wonder if she is a pathological liar or just out there to screw us over, or if she wanted us to like her by "getting us a sponsor" I dunno.

But we had tryouts yesterday and had a really good turn out and that was without the freshmen (one freshmen came but we are having a separate tryout for them in the summer). And our new coaches and captains are so responsible and on top of everything. I'm really looking foward to the season! Our old coach quitting was probably the best thing that could have happened!
