Hi everyone! I coach a high school dance team, and I have a mix of songs in mind for our pom competition routine for this coming season. It has kind of an "animal" theme to it. Since I coach at a private school and we just got new costumes last year, we can't get new ones this year. The ones we have are light blue (almost teal) dresses with long sleeves and royal blue poms. So, here's my first question...does anyone have any ideas on things we could add to our already existing costume to make it edgier and more "animal-like"? I was thinking of using royal blue as our accent color and maybe wrapping some fabric around one leg (as long as it's not hard to dance with) or something, but I'm not very creative in that department.

Then comes the make-up. I was thinking of doing big, kinda crazy hair, but I can't think of any ideas for make-up. Do any of you know of any good websites with make-up ideas or tricks you have tried. I want something dramatic and big with bright blues...something edgy. Also, I'm even open to just some suggestions for other performance make-up throughout the year because we always seem to do the same stuff.
