It took me so long to find the way to my perfect bun! I have long, thick, curly hair, so I need all the help I can get. I start by using curl cream to defrizz my hair--I comb it through dry hair with my hands. Then I brush my hair into a fairly tight, high ponytail and secure it with a hairtie. From there, I don't twist it, but I start to wrap the ponytail around itself into a bun, securing it with hairpins along the way. After about 3 or 4, it's fairly secure, and I wrap my bun net over it, and pin the net in with one bobby pin. Sometimes I take out all but the bobby pin, flatten the bun, and re-pin it. Then I mist all over with Pantene defrizz hair spray. =]
