Beautiful images! I don't have any pictures to post, but I'd like to chime in. As a choreographer, Jiri Kylian is definately one of my idols!!! His work is... unearthly. |

Yeah Jiri is great. He is the home choreographer of Nederlands Danstheater (Dutch Danceteatre)-> ndt.nl. You should check it out! It's also a great compagny. They all have a classical base but the style is formally modern. They are beautiful. I'm gonna check them out on their next tour (I live in Holland).

Jiri Kylian is one of my biggest inspirations. His work is one of the reasons that I am still teaching. Thank you for the post. It is nice to read about his influence on others. |

I saw Jiri Kylian's work for the first time on a video that was all about him.... And I fell in love from the very first piece!!!

We watched Jiri Kylian's work in my class at school and I feel in love! My teacher pretty much swears by petit mort. He is really fabulous. I'd have to say my favorite part is the unexpected way he situates partners. Amazing. |
