So, I'm a colorguard coach, and it will be my second year. We've had very small numbers in the past (like... FOUR) and me and my old captain are going into one of the bigger middle schools in my city tomorrow to recruit.

What exactly should I say to these kids to get them to join? Obviously, I'll find someway to explain what colorguard is. And I'll explain the expectations they need to meet regarding rehersals and band camp.

But how should I word these things? And what else can I say to ensure that I get at least a few kids?
