First Choreography

Last night two of my children (one novice, one beginner) and a friend (novice) performed their first choreography as part of a ceilidh to raise money for a mom and son seeking treatment for Huntington's disease in China. Wendy (the mom) is a former highland dancer who has progressed in her disease far enough that walking is awkward and difficult as well as other symptoms. Austin, her 11 year old son is the main beneficiary of this experiment treatment in China that isn't covered by medical insurance. Some of you may know Lynda Maxwell, a three time USIR Champion, this is her sister and nephew, and she is heading up the fund raising efforts.

Here's the video link:

If you'd like to help Austin and Wendy (they are not quite to 3/5 of their goal in fund raising) visit: www.helpaustinandwendy.org (and thanks! :) )

Thanks Dancing_24_7. They were so excited to have a chance to make something up themselves and feel like the "big" kids even though it was very simple and wasn't very long. I love how their teacher encourages them in these things.
