HORRIBLE!!

There is a youtube thing called "Contortion Factory" and the lady in that picture looks like one of the trainers. I actually sat through the youtube thing and what I saw was barbaric beyond belief. One little girl was screaming "Oh my god" as she was placed on her back and one woman on one leg and another woman on another leg and they were pushing the poor girls legs to the floor. She was screaming and gritting her teeth obviously in pain. It was absolutely horrid.

Then another girl was up on the wall on those bars upside down and the fat woman trainer was sitting on her hips pushing her legs to the floor. Someone needed to flip the trainer upside down and stretch her legs like that. I don't think she would be too happy. It was disgusting.

What a silly woman!
If she knows how to train children properly she shouldn't be doing this to that poor boy!
She obviously isn't qualified to stretch little children like this, it would be okay if his face wasn't screwed up because by his faical expression you could tell he was comfortable with it.
His legs are probably broken!!

I completley disagree with this. I think it's almost torture looking at the pain in the child's face.

I have made a number of previous postings that I do not agree with assisted stretching in a class or with a buddy when one trainee forces the other.

It is stupid and injury can easily be the result.

Hamfist is a contortionist trainer, and he knows what he's talking about. Seriously. You know your own limits. I don't believe partner stretching is appropriate unless it is you and a trainer that will do things slowly and gently and stop if you tell them to. The boy looks like he is in agony, and she looks thrilled with herself. When I was young in dance and gymnastics, we were pushed into some things, but never something as extreme as that poor boy.

this makes me feel sick, but hey if thats what you enjoy, you look in pain, i think ill just stick with my normal splits lol xx

She's a very big trainer on youtube videos too, which is horrible. As I mentioned above, "Contortion Factory" videos are horrible.

But then again, there are several ballet videos on there of the Vaganova trainers hurting their students making them into tears as well forcing them into positions. It's not just stretching. It's everywhere
