They´re only wearable if you do not put varnish on the tip of the box. Otherwise I wouldn´t suggest to dance in them, could be slippery.
I use all shoes for decoration only (reason one: I`m not on pointe, reason two: even if I would be on pointe, they´re not my size!)

I wonder if I could buy a real cheap pair for my niece and rubber stamp on them? I know her teacher wouldn't let her wear them but she could show them what I did. I have lots of dance stamps. Would I have to put something on them before I stamped? When you stamp on fabric you don't have to. I also have something called Modge Podge that if for preserving things on wood. Would it work on shoes I wonder? Just curious as Christmas is just around the corner. Thanks for your help. PM me if you'd like.
