EireLibra, did you read the post? It says it's John Nygard from Heinzman.

Anyway, wow. Look at his buddies, they're grinning from ear to ear!

The straight-backed posture of ID has been described as "militaristic" so often that this seems perfectly logical! Bonus points to John for audibly nailing all those beats in those clunky boots.

My 8 year old is in love. She is all about soldiers right now, and to see one dancing is bonus points. Can you "adopt" soldiers still in school or do you have to wait until they are deployed? She would be sending him care packages RIGHT NOW! lol! Thanks for posting the link.

yeah I have to go with the consensus.. that was totally cool. Maybe a few more clips like that might bring guys back INTO dancing again. Hey I live in a military oriented town, maybe I can show that around and get a few takers...lol. Well done John, and well done to the wonderful person who posted it.

yeah.. we shall have to pursue this matter further with considerable discussion ... yet another goal for us to conquer - get more blokes into dance shoes .. maybe a few police and fireman and emergency services people to challenge this weekend as well ..huh...hehe.

It should be a requirement that all boys see that video. They would be flocking to ID!

Well, I just emailed this to my husband's family. His family will be thrilled since his late father (pilot/major, veteran of three wars) and two of his brothers (two lt. colonels (one retired, one active pilot) are Air Force men!

What a fine young man and fantastic dancer. What joy he's showing, in addition to great skill. I'm not surprised to hear he's a world qualifier. He makes Irish stepdancing in combat boots look easy. LOL (I KNOW it's not, heck, I can't imagine doing anything skillful in my DD's hardshoes.) :)

Real men know how to dance:)

The First Battalion, Eighth Marines (1/8) will deploy on September 11, 2007 to Ramadi, al Anbar Province, Iraq. My son is a machinegunner in that unit and would welcome mail from a little Irish dancer like his sister. Will try to post an address when we know. Prayers are welcome now. Thank you!
